Description
SEMIC.EU is a participatory platform and a service by the European Commission that supports the sharing of assets of interoperability to be used in public administration and eGovernment.Features
A key feature of SEMIC.EU is an ebXML Registry/Repository for managing so called \"Semantic Interoperability Assets\".
SEMIC.EU also contains a forum and a CMS to enable SEMIC.EU operating as a community network for eGovernment projects and initiatives.Future plans
It is planned to help Member States to adapt SEMIC.EU for use as a national repository complementing SEMIC.EU\'s efforts.
Extension of functionalities according to user requirements is also on the agenda.
