Description

Albatross Display is an open source Air Traffic Controller environment to provide a full Controller Working Position. Albatross Display is an open source Air Traffic Control Human Machine Interface (HMI) to provide the controller with precise visualization of airspace. Albatross Display is the result of SkySoft-ATM operational expertise in ATC. Best of breed new features ensure improved safety, ease of use and productivity.

Features

Main feature : Receive Asterix data flow and display aircaft tracks on maps. Other features : Zoom and panning, Range and bearing, Radar selection, find tracks, height filter. Albatross Display is delivered with a tool to send rela Asterix data on the network.

Future plans

In the next release, futures plans are to connect Albatross display with an ADS-B antenna.

The target users are ANSP (Air navigation Service Provider). An Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) is the organisation that separates aircraft on the ground or in flight in a dedicated block of airspace on behalf of a state or a number of states. Air Navigation Service Providers are either government departments, state owned companies, or privatised organisations.
