The Linux Audio Conference 2009 will be held in Parma, Italy. Organised by "La casa della musica", this four-days event aims to bring together Linux Audio developers, users, composers, musicians and philosophers.

Presentations and workshops will focus on various areas of audio processing based on Linux and open source software. Papers will deal with technical, artistic or scientific issues, such as music production tools, audio and DSP languages, drivers, system and sound architecture, audio distributions and projects realised using Linux Audio.
The conference will also include several electro-acoustic music concerts and the Linux Sound Night.
