FOSS4G is a conference on open source Geospatial software, to be held in Barcelona, Spain. The organisers aim to offer developers and users a place to show off their latest software and projects on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Linux Kongress 2010
The seventeenth edition of the Linux Kongress will take place in Nuremberg (Nürnberg), Germany in September this year. The organisers, the German Unix User Group (GUUG), describe this conference as one of the most traditional Linux conferences, focussing on development and cutting edge topics.

One of the biggest conferences on Linux in Slovenia, according to the organisers, 'Linux Konferenca 2010', is scheduled for 27 and 28 September, in Portoroz.

The fifth Brno Linux conference is planned for 6 and 7 November 2010 in Brno, the Czech Republic. Preliminary conference topics include open source solutions for digital hotography, audio and video, office applications and security.
